Baltic Blender utilizes the GERG-2004 real gas model, aiding SCUBA gas blenders in accurate and efficient partial-pressure blending of gases to achieve desired mixtures. It serves as a supplementary tool for individuals already proficient in handling high-pressure gases, offering the necessary mathematical calculations for gas blending. Proper training and certification are indispensable for mastering safety protocols when working with such gases, ensuring the well-being of both the diver and those in their vicinity.

Concerning traditional blending techniques, Baltic Blender addresses inherent errors prevalent in simplistic ideal gas models. By employing the GERG-2004 real gas model, it anticipates actual gas behaviors under SCUBA cylinder pressures. Moreover, the app emphasizes the significance of accounting for temperature fluctuations by providing guidelines for allowing temperature stabilization between blending steps. This meticulous approach involves utilizing commercial infrared thermometers to determine accurate internal gas temperatures based on cylinder wall measurements.

Baltic Blender also facilitates the use of preblended gases, whether from existing trimix reservoirs or stored mixes. Its key features include support for nitrox, optional upgrade availability for trimix usage, monitoring of consumed volumes and pricing information, comprehensive gas blending functionalities, compatibility with metric and imperial units, parallel handling of multiple cylinders, tank grouping with pricing details, and application of the Real Gas Law utilizing the GERG-2004 model. Other notable attributes encompass individualized preblend configurations per cylinder, user-friendly temperature adjustment options, customizable default gas lists, standard temperature settings customization, and billing features like printing or emailing invoices.

Users have the convenience of inputting data for multiple cylinders simultaneously and categorizing tanks into groups for streamlined billing processes.
